An Elvis impersonator is found dead on a bus bench. Sarah and Greg find a blood trail that leads the to a dead crow. Greg finds out that it deals with chess. The bird is the rookie and the Elvis is the king. (Ha ha get it Elvis was known as The King)
The find out that there is a chess tournament going on around the world and its in Vegas now. The go and get a list of names. Greg sees and old friend and talks to him. Russel finds out that there are more people dead. Sarah and Morgan find the other people killed that's apart of their case. The think that the killer is playing a game of chess and anytime he makes a move someone dies. Greg says the game is just beginning.
Greg goes to his old friend for help. Max sends Greg to Karl. Karl says he got a gift from someone. They find out the gift was from a man named Lee. They think he dis it till Russel gets a text saying another body was found. Sarah shows Greg the body and that he was a knight. The killer is switching the game. I think the killer is Karl. Or the guy Karl had went up against in 98 and beat him. His name was Troy Parker.
The team finds out that Troy is the one killing. Max tells Greg he doesn't think it's Troy. Karl is missing. Carol ( manger for the chess tournament) gives Russel another gift that had a knight chess piece. They find out where Troy is living. They find Lee dead in the tub. They think that Max is the one who was killing but Greg figures out that it was Carol. She kidnapped Karl and Troy. She did it because her father said chess was for guys only.
